This coffee comes to us from the legendary Benjamin Paz of San Vincente in Honduras. Benjamin Paz is renown for his ability to find and source the finest coffees in the Santa Barbara mountain range. Grown on the verdant hillsides of the towns of Cielito, Cedral and Las Flores, this region experiences high annual rainfall. While the increased rain produces challenges for the farmers in how they dry their coffee cherries, it results in unique coffee flavor profiles not found in other parts of Central America. Thanks to the special environmental conditions, this hillside contributes the largest percentage of Coffee of Excellence winners in Honduras.
